| Sixeyes Mix: February 16th |

This mix has died.
This last song, a fantastic cover of Nick Drake's "Cello Song", is from the compilation curated by Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National entitled Dark Was The Night. A total of 32 exclusive tracks were gathered for this years edition which benefits the Red Hot Organization. It'll be available as a double cd/triple vinyl/download on February 16th and is loaded with great indie acts such as, oh hell, here's the whole line-up: (find links to buy the album here)

that CYHSY song is really just a demo that Alec Ounsworth recorded about 3 years ago...
-
The CYHSY song is on a soundtrack for the upcoming film The Great Buck Howard starring Tom Hanks and John Malkovich. Not sure if they re-recorded it though.
