Pulco is the musical project of Ashley Cooke (former frontman for Welsh band, Derrero). This is great quirky stuff, he must be an interesting guy, to have issue forth from his musical cranium such sweet little burbling melodies. He may be on a folk roots label (and Welsh, I believe) but his sound is what I would call Califolk. His latest solo work, Undersea Adventure, has recently been unveiled on UK label, Folkwit Records... go here to buy.(That's Mr. Cooke on the left.)
