| Arctic Monkeys 'Favourite Worst Nightmare': Downloads? |
Yes, the album comes out April 23rd, but you can find most of it by visiting the blogs linked through the individual songs below, or you could if someone hadn't gone apeshit with the Web Sheriff. Normally the idea of the 'Sheriff' doesn't bother me, but when this band, a band that built up their profile by making mp3s available, clamps down like this, sorry, but that really bothers me. okay, maybe I souldn't blame the band... I don't want to blame the band, I prefer to blame the label, Domino Records, and their affiliation with major label, Warner. Or it could be the band, I haven't heard either way who is responsible. Although it is their property and if doing business this way is how they operate, so be it.
Favourite Worst Nightmare has a lot to live up to, meaning the record setting sales on the band's home turf of their full length debut, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not, although with the Web Sheriff doing it's best to protect the product, I have to wonder... 'Will that help, or hurt, record sales?'
We'll have to wait and see.

Alan That's a good point. I blame labels, they beg for mp3 blogs for posting their bands mp3s. And when they get enough popularity, they say oh sir please don't post mp3s, isn't it totally hypocrisy? Also there is another thing that you've already mentioned, i think they leak the mp3s on purpose, then the sentence is "OH It leaked!"
