I discovered your blog a few days ago, while I was looking for an mp3 blog. It opened my ears to new artists (at least, new for me) and to some I already knew just by name. Calexico and Iron & Wine belong to the first case. I really enjoyed listening to this live performance at Triple Door. It seemed to me warm and kind, like they were playing at someone's friend living room (a big one, of course... hehe) on a cloudy saturday afternoon. I think I'll search for more about these musicians. Any album to recommend me? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Marcelo. Glad you found Sixeyes and that you like what you've heard. You should give Calexico's Garden Ruin and Feast of Wire a listen and also seek out Iron & Wine's Our Endless Numbered Days and The Shepherd's Dog.
ReplyDeleteOkie dokie. I'll follow your advice. Thanks again, Alan.
