Calvin Johnson formed Olympia, Washington's K Records nearly 25 years ago (well, 23 years ago, and that's close to 25... isn't it?). Johnson has recorded under many guises and with many artists of renown, but one thing has remained constant and that is how Calvin Johnson gives us all the answer to the troubling queston: How would it sound if John Wayne were still alive and kicking and singing indie songs?
