Spoon's Britt Daniel was Drake Tungsten

Spoon's Britt Daniel recorded solo under the pseudynom Drake Tungsten and he even released a couple of recordings in the mid '90s. The first was a self-released cassette of demos titled Clocking Out Is For Suckers [1994] and the other release under the Drake Tungsten name was 1996's Six Pence for the Sauces.

Get your Britt Daniel fix right here and now, and hear this very early version of "Chicago At Night" that later appeared on Spoon's 2001 album, Girls Can Tell. Plus you can download the track, "I Can't Believe That Kurt Cobain Is Dead".

I even found that later Tungsten release, Six Pence for the Sauces, at eMusic, check out their free offer through the lnk below.
