  2. "But don't you love her, deep down"
I think it's "Don't you evah, be down". makes more sense with the line that follows about keeping him around.

"Windsor, gets cold in ways you always forget"
Sounds like "Winter, gets..." to me.

Haven't gone through the rest, am at work, but looks great! I'm psyched cause no one place had em. Nice...

  3. In Finer Feelings, shouldn't Commercial Appeal be capped? I used to work there (at the Memphis newspaper).

Or maybe Britt means commercial appeal, as in, "I wish they'd play my songs on Clear Channel in the Midwest."

    Something to think about...

  4. Hey Ruth,
I'm not sure, i hear the album comes with the lyrics, but I've got a promo copy without lyrics. One of the reasons I posted the lyrics was I didn't realize the album came with lyrics.

So, maybe someone with a store bought copy could straighten this out.

  5. Hey Alan,

Many thanks for posting this. Someone suggested I hear "The Underdog"...what a great song- and band.

  6. In Rhthm & Soul, the line "Aching soldiers" sounds like "Egg n' soldiers" referring to a boiled egg with toast soldiers to dip in it.
