The Mountain Goats climbed up the hills

I am not a fan of John Darnielle and The Mountain Goats, but I am of this song. On first listening, the line 'and the headstones climbed up the hills', grabbed me with it's slight hesitation, well, more of a pause, of the word headstones. This song just chugs along - lo-fi acoustic guitar and drum.
