Rachel Goswell is a member of the great indie sadcore band Mojave 3, so the feel-good sunshine that permeates her solo debut, Waves are Universal, is a bit surprising.
The final track on the disc is Sleepless and Tooting (yeah, ignore the title). This song shimmers and even shimmies a touch - all jangly, folky pop lifted up by a reedy, whistling organ.
(yes, I do like a song with a nice organ part - it may be becoming obvious).
