This from Pitchfork:
"Just a few weeks after the release of the Lon Gisland EP, Beirut have dropped a couple more morsels to feed the starving masses: the Pompeii EP, currently available only at eMusic. (It will be available soon in Europe via Rough Trade Digital.)
It consists of the songs "Fountains and Tramways" and "Napoleon on the Bellerophon". Both tracks were recorded before Condon made Beirut's debut album Gulag Orkestar."

I am a high school junior...
and I go to a school with no culture...
Most of the kids in my school are Abercrombie zombies (or whatever they're wearing nowadays...Hollister or Juicy Couture or whatever),
and the most "cultured" ones are the pretentious Urban Outfitters kids who think they're cool because they "discovered" The Shins with the Phantom Limb single, or think they are the onle ones who know Bright Eyes...
