This is a fantastic performance by Arcade Fire which includes members of Wolf Parade (for the encore) and Owen Pallett (Final Fantasy), who was a member of their touring ensemble. The band had been touring their debut smash Funeral for a year when they performed this show, and many of these songs had been a part of their live repertoire for some time, and it shows. I've seen this band twice and I encourage you to go see them for yourself because now you've got the chance (well, some of you have)... check the dates below and the mp3s of their First Avenue Club performance in Minneapolis in September 2005 below that.

Looking at the track listings on these songs, they jump around a bit. Is this their whole set, or are there some tracks that are left out (namely 1,4,7,10,13,17) Just curious, but even still, these are fantastic recordings, if I had any apprehensions about seeing Arcade Fire live, they've totally vanished now. Thanks!
ReplyDeletehey Sam-
ReplyDeletethanks for leaving your comment. If I recall correctly, this is from a radio broadcast and the missing tracks are the DJ talking.
