Sam Beam meets Jim Beam tonight at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern. After wending his way up the eastern seaboard with a stop last night in Montreal, Sam Beam (a.k.a. Iron and Wine), will soothe our big city frazzled nerves with his cradlesongs. His music is Nick Drake healed by the heat of the Florida sun and then channelled through the eye of a modern cinephile (Beam teaches cinematography in Florida).
