Many of you have heard Badly Drawn Boy's The Shining, although likely the re-mix done by The Avalanches - this is the original with cello, french horn ( I think ), and acoustic guitar.
This has a sadness about it, whereas the remix makes it happy and poppy.
A song to search out would be the Minotaur Shock re-mix of this song - it retains some of the intended sadness and imbues it with a lullaby quality.
