The Wrens are my favourite indie band...

The Wrens are my favourite indie band. So you should listen if you haven't done so before and if you already know how good this New Jersey band is, you should tell others to listen.

WELL, IT SEEMS THAT ALL OF THE MP3 LINKS FOUND ON THE WRENS WEBSITE DON'T WORK. SORRY EVERYBODY, YOU CAN STILL TRY THE EMUSIC OFFER BELOW OR CHECK OUT LITTLEQUILL.COM (there are two song links working).

Kathryn Yu is making a documentary on The Wrens and she has posted some live mp3s on Little Quill, the production team website. While there you can also help out by making a donation. Either way you should visit and get excited about the coming film on indie rocks best band.

*eMusic has The Meadowlands and a number of live recordings of the band and also lead singer, Charles Bissell. Start with eMusic's great Free Trial Offer.

  1. I got to see The Wrens play live recently with Get Him Eat Him and Sparrow. The Wrens were absolutely phenomenal in a way i never would have guessed. Intense, raw, and emotionally they catalyzed the whole audience on a roller-coaster through their own pain and joy. Pretty awesome stuff. If you get the chance, go see them.

hmmm...the links are not working for me. I don't know and I'm not sure if it's just my computer or whether there is something wrong with the links.
